USK Praha forced 20 Zabiny Brno turnovers and outrebounded them 43-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Zabiny Brno was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. French forward Valeriane Ayayi (184-1994) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French forward Janelle Salaun (188-2001) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. USK Praha's coach Natalia Hejkova felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Stephanie Jones (188-1998, college: Maryland) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Petra Zaplatova (175-1991) scored 15 points.
